Skyy without a doubt is my once-in-a-lifetime male (thus far). My family has owned five males and he is my absolute favorite. He has what I believe is the perfect personality. He is courageous, driven, loving, and extremely happy. Every dog and person is his best friend and he is happy to work for anyone (including our son and daughter). He is a worry free, high energy dog, but not to the point that he is too much to handle when working him (or living with him). He is wonderful with our two children. He can often be seen with both kids on top of him and he enjoys playing catch or tug with our son. My husband Brian (who has never worked with dogs) is his trainer and handler. My husband often likes to comment that Skyy could do so much better with an experienced handler, but his wall full of blue ribbons begs to differ. He too has placed in almost every trial he has qualified in. In fact, when he received his CDX and placed/passed in three out of the four days. We often wonder what he could achieve with owners that had more time to train and compete. He too is a handsome example of the breed. He scored an average 90% on his conformation assessment.
